The Unfiltered AI is an independent review publication covering AI tools with the fewest restrictions — chatbots, image generators, and video generators — from a privacy-first, creative-freedom angle.
We started in October 2026 with a simple frustration: most AI reviews repeat marketing copy. We don’t.
How we test
Every claim on this site is backed by real hands-on testing. For each tool we check:
- Refusal behavior — what the tool actually blocks vs. what it claims to block
- Free-tier limits — exact quotas, measured, not copied from pricing pages
- Output quality — scored on real prompts, with dates
- Privacy practices — what data the tool collects, from its actual policy
Test dates are stated in each article. We re-verify pricing and key claims regularly.
Editorial independence
We are reader-supported. Some articles contain affiliate links — if you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never influence our verdicts, and every article starts with a disclosure.
